I was more excited than I expected to be selecting postage stamps with humming birds and flowers on them. This is my current stage of life.

My wife bought me one of the Bird Buddy bird feeders for my birthday, which sends pictures/video to your phone of the birds that visit.

Also been walking down with my DSLR pretty regularly to the park near me where migratory birds (such as warblers and grosbeaks) visit every spring. Excitedly told my wife that I got some good pictures of a Louisiana waterthrush the other day. When did this ******* happen to me?

No. It was 82 in KC on Wednesday. About 27 here now. I’m an idiot.

We love it up here. Plus my son is playing football at a college near Milwaukee. My 16 year old was gonna move here in two years to pursue a trade and he loves fishing. I love to catch musky. And we were gonna retire up here anyway.
