I was told long ago that in ye olden days, sneezing was a sign of some kind possession or illness by/from the devil, which is why people would respond with god bless you.

We used that extra space to build a snowman, well worth it IMO - Not to mention how much easier it was to dig the car out (which still took > hour). I've got a contractor coming tomorrow to the house, I will be moving my car out to allow their van in, then reclaiming my spot when they leave
