Going bald.. (1 Viewer)

I agree completely.  I love not having to deal with my hair.  And, to be honest, the shaved-head look is much better for me now that I know my hairline is seriously receding (I can see it very clearly when I let my hair grow out over the course of a few days, and it looks terrible).  This is the haircut I've always wanted, and it looks completely normal on a guy my age.  Perfect.

Edit: Actually, perfect for me is two days of growth.  That's just the right level of stubble to look good, but not enough to call out that the top of my head isn't growing the same way as the sides.  Sadly, there's no way to lock that in.  On weekends when I usually don't bother to shave my face, it all blends really well.
You should try the Wahl balding clippers. I use them twice a week and always have that really short stubble look.

My forehead has been growing, too big a dome to shave. Maybe the pills but worried if it can make the Johnson go limp haha.
I don't think there's a head out there that looks worse shaved than with a receding hairline.

Well you don't have swag.
Being bald and not feeling the need to wear hats is the definition of swag. All about confidence. Now if you had beautiful hair and still wore this goofy hat, that could pass as swag.

I've shaved my head for 20 years and this is the first hat I've worn in 15.

Curious how many of you dudes who shave your head would grow hair again if you could.  cstu's made it clear that he would not but how about the rest?  As noted, my hair is one of the few genetic gifts that I have and I seriously think I'd go into a depression if I lost it.  When I had chemo at 21, everyone around me in the chemo room was bald except me.

Just wondering since it seems all of you bald dudes rock the look proudly.

In my case I never enjoyed having hair so I started to look it so young.  I first noticed that my hair was thinning at 17 (actually the girl at the hair salon mentioned it).  At 22 even though I still had hair I saw where it was headed and decided to 'Be Like Mike' and shave it.  Immediately got compliments so I haven't looked back.

I started losing mine in my late 30's. Shaved my head in my early 40's. I'm 50 now and love it. I would never go back to hair even if I had the chance. I really like the clean look, and it's so simple and no frills, which I really like.

If I still had a full head of hair, I would go with the hair look, mainly because shaving the head every couple of days is time consuming work, a lot more work than when I had hair. I had a receding hairline by the time I was 26ish and decided it was time to shave it all off by 29. I dont mind being bald at all, but the work that comes with it kind of sucks.
