Going RB crazy! (1 Viewer)

I know this isn't really the place to ask for fantasy advice but I feel like it's a relevant question. I'm in a 10 team redraft and the last few days people have been dropping very viable RB options.

Before Sunday's game, someone dropped Felix. Some may say he has less value because of the strong possibility of a RBBC when he returns but I think his value goes up. He wasn't getting good performances as the bell cow, but the previous few years he did much better when sharing time (this is how I remember it, correct me if I'm wrong.

Today someone drops Daniel Thomas. He was putting up good numbers before his pulled hammy...will his value come back up?? On my roster already:

Forte

Tate

Best

F Jones

Will jones and Thomas have RB2/3 value going forward??

If you have shallow rosters and/or no Flex spot and/or a weak-ish league, than it kinda makes sense. Otherwise, it's just dumb. In spite of his injuries, can anyone name 30 RBs they'd rather have than Daniel Thomas? I can't.

Thomas was dropped in one of my leagues. I think people have grown frustrated with his ups and downs. Moving forward though, Miami has a pretty nice schedule and I sure wish I had him. I've been settling for Reggie Bush and he put up nice numbers but Sporano is a Thomas guy. You can read it in his quotes. He is very high on Daniel Thomas.

A couple of possible reasons for the surprising drops:

1) Weeks 7 and 8 were bye week hell for many owners, and now RB5/6's and even some RB4's who are injured need to be flipped for upcoming WR4/5's with upside for WR3. Also, you might see some stockpiling of defenses as the playoffs near.

2) Felix and D. Thomas aren't anyones key to their fantasy seasons. Anyone who is counting on these guys to make the playoffs is probably 2-6 or 3-5 right now. They need to cut dead wood now to have a chance for the playoffs. With 6 weeks left, the FF season is already winding down and the contenders are marking their territory.

Disagree (re: wrong forum). But it could probably be merged with a 'WW RB's' thread or something.That anyone could drop Daniel Thomas is a noob move, and likely due to a fundamental misunderstanding of the NFL/FF, and how injuries play out.Thomas and Jones are no brainers IMHO.Same with Hillis, but there seems to be 'something' more going on with that situation vis a vis his contract situation that makes me leerier of that one than the rest.

I'm in the same situation. We start 2RB and a flex, 10 teams. In our set up the FBG custom value ROS has RB30 just a head of WR15...not quite an accurate representation of the value but a pretty clear point.

Blount

Ingram

D Thomas / R Bush

R Torain / R Helu

Which leaves me with only 1 WR and a QB on my bench. Bunch of injured / uninspiring names but some of them will be very relevant down the stretch. Theres 1 or 2 interesting names that come off the WW later today too. Posted late monday that I need to adjust my roster balance, looking for a WR - I've received 0 offers and no response to offers I've sent out. We've had 6-7 trades so far so this isn't one of those impossible to trade leagues. Theres contending teams who would/should give these guys weekly flex consideration or only depth in case of injury and some of them have RB2 upside. Guess we just have to settle for being more prepared / more match up plays, hope for some clarity before your trade deadline and know that 1 or 2 opponents will fail their depth test and be kicking themselves by season end.

I ended up grabbing Thomas, and noticed Battle and Ringer were still available. Couldn't believe it. Grabbed all of them and dropped jones again. big gamble cuz I only have one move left but I intended to use them for trade bait should I need to.

Cool originality bro....just stop. I'm still hanging on to D. Thomas in one of my two 10 teamers. Felix was dropped and I'm going to pick him up and drop Torain. The WAS RB sitch is an absolute abomination.
