Going solar (1 Viewer)

So he told me I would be paying my power company $18 a month for electricity. Keeping me in tier 1 or 2. I think it would save me money just not sure I want to use the tax credit at this time or wait to get solar later or a different house down the line.
Is "he" the sales guy?

You bet.
So you really think your electric bills will be $18 a month?
Well to Pg&e for just electric like I said sure. This doesn't count gas or fees they charge.

Then of course I will be paying the solar company about $170 a month.

:bump:

Any more stories on going solar? Looking at lease vs buy options and trying to figure out the pros/cons of each.

I have panels and micro-inverters in my garage. Install was supposed to start today.

This has been a long time coming, I started evaluating the lease option a year ago and signed a contract on the purchase in December. If I'm not using solar to power my Summer Equinox orgy, I'm going to be pissed.

just saw this product highlighted in a trade mag... nothing revolutionary in terms of function- but interesting for the form side of things if people have an issue with the visual of solar panels.
