For an unsung guy like mcclure to be back in this lineup is HUGE for any falcons owners. This guys in s money and is the leader of the OL.

Tough, hard-nosed veteran who has started 166 of 168 games at center, including a streak of 148 starts heading into the 2011 season. Set a franchise record for the most consecutive starts with 148, topping Keith Brooking’s old mark of 128 set from 2000-08. Voted to the USA Today 2008 All-Joe Team. Heady performer who has been the signal-caller on the line after earning the starting center position in 2001. Has blocked for three 1,000-yard running backs in Michael Turner (2008), Warrick Dunn (2004, ‘05, ’06) and Jamal Anderson (2000). Rebounded from a rookie campaign that was cut short due to a season-ending knee injury suffered in training camp, starting seven of 10 games played on a revamped line in 2000.
