Good ole Hermie Edwards says (1 Viewer)

BUMP

QB Coach Terry Shea - gone

QB Trent Green - named starter by Herm, now likely gone via trade or cut

QB starter? Damon Huard or Brodie Croyle...there are no winners here

RB Larry Johnson - beat to hell, now on the trade block

WR still depleted

WR/KR Dante Hall - traded for a 5th round pick

TE Tony Gonzalez - rewarded for past performance...will end his HOF career overpaid and on a crappy offense

OL from one of the best groups to a group that has some serious issues

And how many points did the Chiefs score in their first round playoff loss? With Herm as head coach who saw that coming?

Herm Edwards is an offensive genius! :goodposting:

As previously predicted, the Herminator comes in and destroys an offense. The only plyer with value on a herminator offense is the RB and even this time it looks like Johnson has seen better days as the o-line is flaling apart.

That Herm Edwards is an idiot for not being able to make an aging team younger!? It was painfully obvious that offense was aging and headed for a steep decline, didn't matter who was going to take over as coach. I think Herm deserves an extension for getting that team to the playoffs with smoke and mirrors when it wasn't as good as the team Vermiel wasn't able to take to the playoffs the year before.

"YOU PLAY NOT TO LOSE THE GAME"
(corrected)
(re-corrected)
In the NFL, there's virtually zero difference between winning a game and not losing a game. An extremely small percentage of games end in ties.
It's not really a debatable point. Every single play call increases your chance of winning (and simultaneously decreases your chance of losing by the same amount) or chance of losing (and simultaneously decreasing your chance of winning by the same amount). The amount of games that end up in ties is neglible, especially when factoring in regulation play-calling.
Lighten up, Francis..the guy before was poking fun at Herm and his 'you play not to lose' mentality..i.e., kicking a FG, and playing prevent defense, rather than going for the outright win by actually trying to score a TD and putting the game out of reach for the opponent.
