Strike anyone else as "odd" that the shooter made sure to pick up his casings before leaving the scene :oldunsure:
As someone who shoots at a range regularly and reloads his own ammo this does not strike me as odd.

Always pick up your brass, don't leave a mess. Reloading ammo is typically less than HALF the cost of buying new ammo.

just sayin.
Well yeah....I guess shooting at a range and shooting a carjack victim by accident are similar enough for this to be a valid analogy
Ever hear of the phrases "You play like you practice" or "muscle memory"?

Didnt think so.

NEXT QUESTION!
You can't be serious.

As in why someone supposedly trying to stop a crime has the wherewithal of a career criminal? Yeah. It's odd.
Right....picking up the shells, driving off (not waiting for police etc)...none of that makes sense :oldunsure:
Maybe he was an off duty cop who knew the consequences of his actions, career-wise.
Sudsy earns the "PLAUSIBLE" stamp. He also had the presence of mind to turn off his body cam. So much for the theory that LEOs can't learn new tactics. ;)

And leaving the scene after you accidentally shoot someone?
Not odd.

Always leave the scene after you shoot someone. Not getting caught is typically less than HALF the sentence of getting caught.

Just sayin

I have no military or law enforcement training. I don't carry a handgun because I'm not prepared to take a life. I can't tell you how I'd react after shooting someone (I hope I never have to find out). Adrenaline & instinct would most likely preempt any thought processes.

Obviously I am not as tough as the average FBG :D

Actually very few here have ever taken a shot at another human being or seen somwone shot to death. You can tell by how cavalier they act about it. You don't ever want to have to shoot another person and kill them. It ain't like TV or thw movies. Its a terrible thing. It leaves permanent scars and changes you. No matter the why or how. If it doesn't you aren't wired right.

Are you delusional? It was an obvious attempt to remove evidence.

Like the pages of an old Playboy back in the 70's.
