He won't miss time due to injuries stemming from this week.
He MAY miss time if the 49ers clinch a playoff spot early.
If he did, Hunter is practically interchangeable with him in that system.
They'll both continue to pace over 5 yards/carry through a tough sched during the fantasy playoffs (Dolphins, Patriots, Seahawks).

Frank Gore underwent X-rays following Sunday's tie with the Rams.
Gore did not disclose what part of his body he had examined. He did sustain bruised ribs on Oct. 18 against the Seahawks, but indicated no concern Sunday. "Just sore," he said. "It's cool." The 49ers play on Monday night in Week 11, giving Gore an extra day to rest up. He should be fine. Nov 11 - 9:50 PM

If you are talking about the daily email from footballguys it is from last year. The Lions didn't play the bears like the email said about Stafford. The MFL player updates say ribs again.
