I started working a job back in the summer with a contractor for a rather large midwest company. I knew that contract negotiations had been going on all summer/fall but my company has had the contract for several years so nobody was really worried. It was leaked to me Thursday by a friend with the company that my employer lost the contract.
It was supposed to have been made official to my company on Friday but they haven't told us anything yet. I was sworn to secrecy so I dare not say a word to anyone. I feel like I'm in one of those movies where I have seen a glimpse of an unavoidable apocolyptic future and can't tell anyone. This is going to put about 70 people out of work.
