I'm in the same situation, but i am playing Edge and K Jones...Bayhawks said:Graham has a great match-up this week vs Detroit. Who's giving him one more start this week, and who are you sitting for him?Personally, I'm considering sitting Edge who has a TOUGH match-up against the 'Skins this week.
can't blame that on him. bad handoff by garciaFumbled lost to Detroit
I wouldn't be so sure of that. 1) Did you really expect Bennett to get many opportunities when he has only been with the team less than a week? 2) Bennett had a really good run when he did get a chance3) Going against one of the worst DTs, it was expected that Graham would have a good day.4) TB still lost; hence, urgency to make changes.I expect Graham to start again next week but he will lose a few more carries. He is going to have to have a couple of games like this to put the Bennett talk to rest.Started him over Jacobs and KJ. With the PPR pts he out shined them both even though both Jacobs and KJ had great games. Now can we dispense with the Bennett talk.
I still don't believe Bennett is the answer. Other than his one great run to the 1-yard line he didn't look good running the ball. What impressed me about Graham was how hard he ran. Yes the Lions suck defensively but Graham really ran hard and with a sense of purpose. He made plays after contact both as a runner and receiver. I'm still going to float him out in my league this week to see what his value is but in a PPR league he may still be worth starting even when the matchup is poor for him (as will be the case next week). The one constant in his three starts is his heavy involvement as a receiver. He has been a reception monster in PPR leagues the past three games (four if you include his game filling in after Cadillac got hurt). The Bucs didn't lose this game because of Graham. They lost because of Garcia's two fumbles, including the killer at the 1-yard line. Graham was easily one of the bright spots offensively along with Hilliard. I still think he's a Sell High candidate because his role will dwindle when Pittman returns - perhaps after their bye in Week 11. I just don't see Bennett being a real threat to him. To me, the threat remains Pittman because when Pittman returns he will be the primary RB in the passing game, not Graham.I expect Graham to start again next week but he will lose a few more carries. He is going to have to have a couple of games like this to put the Bennett talk to rest.
I think his best days are in the past. Again, I think the threat to Graham is Pittman's pending return - not Michael Bennett. Of course, the bigger threat next week will be the Jags' standout run defense. But in PPR leagues, Graham could still be a viable RB3 given how active he is as a receiver.Bennett is NOT the answernot at all. no way. he's a straight line runner with no shake and he goes down too easily. he needs huge holes to gain yardage.
