Gravy on Pizza (1 Viewer)

We had meatloaf for dinner.  Little one was whining about it so we let him have a leftover slice of ham and bacon pizza instead.  I decided to grab a slice too and dipped it in my leftover gravy

pretty good, seems like this should become a thing

I wouldn't plan on doing it, but if the gravy is good, I'd do it.

On the other hand:  I really enjoyed the Disney Breakfast pizzas that had sausage gravy on the base, egg/cheese on that and then topped with bacon.  As much as I love bacon, the sausage gravy made it.

As our nation slides into the authoritarian hellscape, maybe it's time to just let the "crimes" against food, pizza or otherwise, slide. Let people enjoy what they want to enjoy with the time they have left.

A Thanksgiving slice of pizza with a gravy base instead of marinara sauce, melted mozzarella, slices of dark meat turkey, pockets of stuffing spread throughout, and a gravy drizzle on top could be alright.

Just came to post the opposite. Gas station has good breakfast pizza except I don't really like the gravy as the base sauce.

Exactly. It's like wanting to send someone to the gas chamber for ordering the wrong last meal.

Who knew.  There are a bunch of Thanksgiving Pizza recipes on the Internet.

I think I'd skip the cranberry sauce though.

prefer the thanksgiving sandwich with turkey, cranberry sauce and cream cheese.  No mashed potatoes, or gravy, or more bread (stuffing ...unless maybe it's overflowing with sausage).

Except pineapples on pizza. That's where I feel like a line has been crossed.

How long before Italy declares war on us and tries to take pizza back? I feel like they would be justified just based on this message board.

Good posting.

Pineapple has its place on pizza, but paired with ham is a poor choice.  Try pairing with bacon and jalapenos
I kind of agree with this except I think ham is a great choice. Pineapple on pizza sucks when the put to much on and it over powers the entire pizza.

Yeah this sounds amazing.

I know a ton of people that put ranch dressing on pizza (and other foods where Ranch doesn't belong). Just WTF is wrong with people?

Ranch is amazing on pizza.

I just dunked an entire wood-fired pizza in that fluorescent pink sweet and sour sauce i had leftover from chinese food the other night. Pretty tasty. I think this might catch on.
