Do we really think that this game is Kordell's fault? I know that he is under a lot of pressure in the organization, but he has no time to throw and there have been two dropped balls already... Plus some lousy tackling and a blocked punt.

 
This game: :yucky: :yucky: :yucky: One note of interest: Paris Hilton is at the game, sitting in Brian Urlacher's suite. She doesn't look too skanky today for once.

 
Anthony Thomas first carry in the second quarter. No, not his first carry OF the quarter. He didn't get his first carry UNTIL the second quarter.

The should rename the Bears the Tin Men, because they have no heart. How do you let your biggest rival walk all over you in your first home game in a new stadium with the Bears legends all around. Disgrace. Tell Urlacher to get out of the Hilton and get in the game.By the way, their gutless play cost me already, as I"m up against Ahman with a 30 point lead. Just about evaporated.

I was up by 40 with my opponent having Green. That lead is now cut in half with 3 quarters to go.If I lose, hide the women and children.

i know what you mean. I can't stand the way all announcers go ga-ga over Favre. Like he's the only QB or NFL player having fun. When Favre throws a stupid INT falling out of bounds with three defenders all over him, it's okay because he's having fun and playing a reckless style. whatever. lame.
 
Kordell Stewert is just terrible. I am not even sure he a worth back up spot QB in the NFL. He looks like he needs rotater cuff surgery or something, his passes have nothing on them. What were the Bears thinking giving this guy that kind of money and making him there starter? Huge mistake. Chandler or Grossman is a MUST. Now.

Well, at least Al Harris shouldn't get a bunch of tackles since the Bears are doing a good job of keeping him and the rest of the defense off the field...

I'd bet he cracks 225, 2 more TD's too. I had the weekly scoring wrapped up in my league, but a guy who trailed me by 100 points at 8 oclock last night is knocking on the door after starting Manning and Green.

When the Bears were dominant in the 80s and the Packers absolutely sucked, Green Bay at least always nutted it up and usually played their best games against them. And when they didn't at least they'd put in a couple cheap shots on Jim McMahon. :P

I can't believe how the Bears hung with the Vikings and they are putting up this kind of effort tonight in the new digs. The Pack isn't THIS good.

I thought they were both pretty good actually. I still think there's no need for additional entertainment calue in football. This game could be an exception, however.

 
Okay, so let's say Kordell's finished and Chandler is useless as usual the last couple of years... anyone see Grossman taking the job this year?

Ditka said this on the radio the other day and I have to agree... Grossman is going to get the starting job sooner than later no doubt... but what can anyone do if 1) they have an offensive line that is just ... well ... offensive and 2) an offensive game plan based around 4 yard passes on 3rd and long?? The kid who hopefully is better than K.S. will get killed.We need talent. We need coaching. Other than Booker, Green, and Uralcher the rest of this team are all backups in the rest of the NFL.

The Bears trouble begines and ends with coaching.I bet if Parcells was thier coach, and had his own OC and DC, they would be a pretty good team.

Dude, I am going to assume your history books only take you back to around 1969 +/-. The Bears were not doormats in the 20's, 30's and 40's and won the NFL championship in 1963.
