**Green Bay vs Miami** (-3.5, 49.5) Merry Christmas to the Shark Pool and FBG (1 Viewer)

If the Dolphins can win today, they take a big step towards the post season and would take a 2 game lead over several teams stuck at 7-8 after the weekend in the AFC

I like The Fins at home today. But with yesterday's results The Pack are still alive for a playoff berth. Mr. Rogers will take note of that and keep his team in it. Pack offense is playing better. Tua needs to get the Fins up early and make Mr. Rogers chase points all day. Over/under is pretty high,no weather concerns. I'll make this my upset special of the day...

Green Bay- 34
Miami- 31

>>Phillips, Jeff Wilson, Chubb, Armstead all available. Had been questionable.<<
and
>>Josh Boyer last week declined to disclose why Crossen has typically been Dolphins' No. 3 cornerback instead of Noah. Special teams one reason, for sure. So it's Crossen 3rd corner, Bethel 4th today, as has often been the case since Needham injury.<<

Interpretation: Noah is a bust and Miami is playing special teamers at CB 3 and 4. And CB 1 would be undrafted Kader Kohou (PFF=69.7) while CB 2 is X who has been hobbled by a groin injury and possibly age (PFF=56.5).

Miami's secondary will give up some big plays to Rodgers and some of his WRs, not sure which one. Can Tua keep up?

Not a must win for Miami but can a team lose 4 games in a row thru December and expect to do anything in the Playoffs?
If Miami, Tua and McDaniel are anything like most Miami fans believe, then the Dolphins will some how some way take care of business.

Miami is going to need 30+ today and they have the weapons to do it.
Look for some run game action with Mostert and Wilson, if for some reason that works well, Miami could shorten the game

Dolphins 28
Packers 24

Miami snaps a 3 game losing streak and separates themselves from the Pack with a focus on the Playoffs
Go Miami Go!

The Packers are not a good team. They weren’t a good team before R Gary and others got hurt. They’ve beaten who? The Bears? The Rams? This is a bad team that should be losing out, starting J Love, and playing for 2023.

@Ministry of Pain
I doubt if we make noise even if we make the playoffs, going against either BUF or KC in round 1. But backdooring into the playoffs losing a bunch of games late in the season will lead to lots of questions about Boyer and Grier. And coach MM. The Packers have a good run game and full complement of receivers. They will score on our defense, 27 pts guaranteed.

Miami isn't that good either. We got lucky wins early vs the Ravens and Bills. Our defense, especially vs the pass stinks, partly due to injuries in the secondary, partly due to lack of a pass rush without blitzing. We only had one solid win at home vs Brissett and the Browns.

They shoulda just run it again.
I don't mind throwing to Hill when he's 1 on 1. But I don't like having no back in the backfield.
They were picking up huge yardage every play except 1. They shoulda run on 3rd and 4th if necessary.
Coach MM is calling plays. He's getting heat for not calling more running plays on 3rd and short. He said they look at what the defense is giving up - hence throwing the long pas to Hill when he's single-covered.

that’s 18.40 in our full PPR bonus league (+3 TDs over 40)

huge swing - #1 seed just went from big underdog to slight fav in probability
