Knee Injury.

(KFFL) ESPNews reports Miami Dolphins WR Greg Camarillo (knee) will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury suffered in Week 12.

That sucks but I am glad for him that he got paid before this happened. He had been a real out-of-nowhere success story this season.

Any idea what the kneee injury is? Are they just shutting him down for the rest of the season or was it a tear of some kind that may hurt his chances for next season?

a bit more info from KFFL

Dolphins | Camarillo injury update

Mon, 24 Nov 2008 09:18:36 -0800

Updating previous items, Jeff Darlington, of the Miami Herald, reports Miami Dolphins WR Greg Camarillo (knee) tore ligaments in his left knee during the fourth quarter of the team's Week 12 game. Late Sunday, Nov. 23, Camarillo believed he had only sprained and twisted the knee, but an MRI Monday, Nov. 24, revealed more serious damage.

Davone Bess anyone? Had a good game yesterday and had 5 targets the week before. Vs Stl next week.

Agreed - a really nice story for a guy that most thought shouldn't even be in the league. He shouldn't definitely give his agent a raise for pushing forward early for a contract extension.

The extension doesn't mean squat unless 1) he's on the roster next year or 2) he received a signing bonus. I think #1 is now in serious doubt, while I cannot find any numbers for #2.

The WR 2 position will likely be London, but I think Bess is the better pickup as he could be the #2 but he will be the slot guy. I feel bad for camarillo, but he should make it back in time to compete for the slot role (I see Miami trading/picking up a FA for someone better than Ginn).
