Guillotine League Bid Strategy (1 Viewer)

My first time playing in this style league.....first 5 weeks we accumulate bid bucks week 6 started elimination. There are a couple players on the eliminated team that i want to bid on.

What percentage of budget should be used in this first week of bidding...the players I want (and need) are a top rb , qb,  and  wr. Is it better to hold on the bid bucks a few weeks or spend highly this early? Any advice welcome . Sorry if wrong forum.

My guillotine league does not wait.  Eliminations happen every week.  We start with $1000.

Best strategy is to wait as long as you can before dropping a ton of money.  I like to bid an amount where I'll be happy if I get him but wouldn't be surprised if I don't.

WW this week my WW includes:

  • McCaffery
  • Conner
  • Lindsey
  • Gurley
  • Singletary
  • Boyd
  • OBJ
  • Waller
I have $575 left of my budget.  I think I have enough on my current roster, but I am a little weary of my 3rd WR to go with Keenan and AJBrown.  I am planning on underbidding on several WRs (and really anybody that I'd be happy with if I make it to the final 6.
