We've got: (in order of when they occurred)

1. The Imacculate Reception

2. Lynn Swann's amazing receptions in the Steelers' second Superbowl

3. Ben Roethlisberger's tackle of Nick Harper.

4. Antwaan Randle El's TD throw to Hines Ward.

And now these two. Where do they belong?

They rank 2 & 3 on my list

I'd have to say Harrison's play would be #2 and Santonio's catch #3 right now but could definitely be flipped.

the Immaculate reception just has such a special place that it will always be #1

Exactly what I was going to post.

Harrison's run was as remarkable, incredible a play as I have ever seen. How the Cardinals failed to take him down I will never know.

However, great credit deserves to go to Larry Fitzgerald on that play. He didn't quit, he ran 100 yards and ALMOST brought Harrison down in the last second, preventing the TD. How many WR's are going to bother to make that kind of effort?

Breaston was right there too. A shame Fitz's nuts got in the way of Harrison getting his knee down on the 0.5 yard line.

Tim, how are you both a Laker fan AND a Steeler fan?

That has to be the worst thing I've ever heard of.

Very true. Breaston as well. Neither of them ever gave up on the play. But neither did Harrison. Truly an amazing effort on his part.

Ben Watson is the only other guy I've seen do that and he's a te

Gotta disagree with the harrison runback. One of the WORST plays in superbowl history. The refs cant make a clipping call??? watch hightower get clipped. Thats call lost the cards the game. Sorry steelers fans... but its the truth. They shouldnt have won

I just went back and watched it again. Was blocked from the side. Not even close.

Better than Holmes one foot down TD catch.

1. The Imacculate Reception

2. Harrison's 100 yarder

4. Antwaan Randle El's TD throw to Hines Ward.

5. Holmes TD catch

The Imacculate Reception has the history that Harrison's doesn't have yet. Since Swan's are grouped together this one is clearly a head of the remaining options.

Ben's tackle and Randle El's TD pass are about even - Holmes TD was nice but not even close to the other choices.

LinkBlocker had the angle on him. He tries to duck underneath him and turns his back as he tries to make the tackle. Even at that the block was on his shoulder. No idea what you are watching.

And a UCLA fan.
Answer the question front runner.
I am from Southern California, and my parents, brother, and wife attending UCLA. I attended UC Irvine, but since we don't have a football team (or a decent basketball team) I've always rooted for UCLA. The same goes for the Lakers; they were my team.As far as the Steelers go, I jumped on the bandwagon as a kid when they were winning all those championships. Sure, it was a total frontrunner move, but what the Hell, I was ten! The point is, I stuck with them, all through the eighties, and especially all during the Bill Cowher era. I am emotionally addicted. It is not healthy.

:lmao: Pretty much the same here. Patriots were always blacked out in the 70s and the Steelers were always on. You were either a Cowboys , Raiders or Steelers fan. We stayed on through the ugly Mark Malone years

Exactly what I was going to post.
I agree...these three mis-calls by the zebras some up Steeler history pretty well.
If you're going to try to be a smartass at least try to look like you're smart.

I was writin' it so Stiller fans would understand.

:lmao: come on, admit it. you've been in Carolina too long and they've rubbed off on you.

This play SORT OF reminded me of Don Beebe and Leon Lett play. ONly that this was a td and not a safety.
