I didn't see this posted and apologize if this is a honda.

Anyway, here is a blurb I found over on the hotwire. Surprised I haven't heard any chatter about this yet. Here it is.

Seahawks | Hasselbeck to undergo MRI

Tue, 28 Nov 2006 10:29:15 -0800

Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports Seattle Seahawks QB Matt Hasselbeck (hand) will undergo an MRI on his left non-throwing hand after banging it on a helmet during Week 12.

I didn't see this anywhere, either. Good get if it is true.

To be honest, I do not trust Jay Glazer, and there is every reason to doubt this story if he is the only one reporting it. We'll keep an eye out, though.

There is another story about this on fflivewire, and yeah its true its being reported on sports updates on the radio here in Tampa, buts its his non-throwing arm so I dont think there is much to worry about.

I heard the same thing on KFAN about an hour ago and was looking for a thread but was distracted by several other threads (which is also why I'm not getting any work done this afternoon, curse this quality board!)

Non-throwing hand means snaps & hand-offs will be affected. If it isn't too painful or in need of a cast it doesn't seem like that big of a deal. Let's hope it's OK, Matt has had a tough enough year already.

edit for spelling

Compared to whom? It seems to me like he gets far more stories right than Peter King and Chris Mortensen combined.

I'd trust Mike Sando on Seahawks news.

I've heard nothing to suggest Matt Hasselbeck's left hand is something of concern to the Seahawks. I haven't even heard anything about an MRI. That tells me the Hawks aren't particularly worried.

Fox Sports Radio had an interview with Trufant tonight--they specifically asked about Hasselbeck's health, and he said he was fine.
