i was cuffed and harassed after being caught smoking weed in a parking structure outside the hoosier dome about 20 years ago, but the pigs elected to not arrest me. that's all i got.
Pigs? In the future please refer to the police as "the Fuzz".ETA - never been arrested but I once was pulled over and asked to get out of the car and to keep my hands up where they could see them and then was frisked. It turned out to be a case of mistaken identity, they were looking for someone in the same kind of car that matched my general description.

It took them a few minutes to figure this out and they apologized afterwards but I nearly pissed my pants.

I've honestly lost count. Probably between 30-35 times. I'm 54 now and a recovering alcoholic. Haven't been arrested since I was 26. Sober 27 years now. 3 DUI's (although 1 was dropped because they screwed up and lost the paperwork on my trial date). Couple of assaults. Several possession and 1 "with intent". The rest were all DIP's. The worst sound in the world is when I hear the bracelets clicking as they close on TV shows. The hair (still) automatically goes up on the back of my head.

this reminds me, i had a similar thing happen. pulled over & "the fuzz" approached my vehicle with guns drawn. one guy kept his gun on me while the other guy checked my information. afterwards, they apologized and said that a similar car had just been used to flee some violent holdup.

Three times for me. Two involved drinking which lead to other stuff such as fighting. Guessing that drinking is involved in most arrests.

Three times being arrested, cuffed once.

1st Arrest - Possession of Alcohol underage. I was 16, and some of my friends and I were going to a party of a person we knew from another high school. We bought some beer, and had it in the back of the car, but hadn't opened it yet. We weren't sure if we were at the right house in a neighborhood so we parked where we saw a lot of cars. We were sitting in the car waiting to see if we saw anyone we knew pull up. Two guys approached the window and knocked on it, I rolled down the window a little and my friend said, "Hey Tex" to the guy with the cowboy hat on, he flashed his badge and said for us to get out of the car with our hands out of our pockets. We got arrested by the vice squad. They searched our car and found beer. Turns out we were at the wrong house in the neighborhood. Anyway, we followed the vice squad guys to the police station, and we had to call our moms. The boss of the cops was not pleased that they arrested four teens that had alcohol when they were supposed to be doing a drug bust at that house. We had to do community service, and it was expunged. The legal drinking age at this time was 18.

2nd Arrest - Freshman year in college. I went through a DWI roadblock, and I stupidly told the officer that I had drank a couple beers earlier in the evening when he asked if I had anything to drink that night. He told me if I blew a .10 (which was the legal limit back then) or below he would let me go. I blew a .10 and he didn't let me go. Liar. I got booked at the station, and then he let me go without having to post a bail.

3rd Arrest - Junior year in college. I was arrested for obstructing an officer. An officer turned on her flashing lights when some friends and I were getting out of the car going into our apartment. She asked the driver of the car for her license, and then wanted to give her a field sobriety test. I asked the officer what was her probable cause in the first place, and the officer told me to go into my apartment. I asked her again what was her probable cause. She said if I said another word she would arrest me, and I asked her why she wouldn't answer the qusetion, and she cuffed and arrested me. That officer was just guessing that the driver had been drinking, because we were coming back from the direction of downtown (which was only about 8 blocks away), and we saw the officer sitting in the lot, but didn't think anything of it since the driver was going a little under the speed limit since the streets were wet from an earlier rain, and we were in a residential neighborhood. The officer had some cadet riding along with her, and I think she was showing off. Anyway, my case was dismissed in court with the agreement that I do 20 hours of community service, and I ride along with officers at night for a total of 20 hours. I did all that was required and it was dismissed. I've been an angel since.

Four times:1) Broke up with a high school girlfriend and got drunk. Walked around my sub breaking mailboxes--23 total--plus the tail fin on a trans-am. The cops took me to the station and tried to get my to sign a blank confession. I wouldn't do it. My parents picked me up at like 3 am. No charges, but I spent half of senior year grounded.2) In Japan. We were at an all-you-can-drink place. My buddies threw down $50 to see who would untie a ribbon that was hanging out of a girls pants. It turned out to be her thong. 2 nights in jail, but no fines or record after that.3) In Japan. A guy in a bar choked me and then kicked me in the balls. I jacked him in the 4 seconds you have before the pain really kicks in. He called the cops. It wasn't self defense because he had stopped hitting me. Spent 13 days in solitary.4) In Japan. Was drunk and threw an almost empty water bottle that broke a window. 7 days in the hole, 7 days in solitary, 1 night with two very nice yakuza guys.I'm done with the getting arrested thing now.

Twice. Once for theft/trespass and then again almost exactly a year later for literally the same crimes, they decided weren't happy with the punishment the first time around.

Penn state homecoming weekend around 2003. I was 19 years old and we were all drunk off our asses causing #### on Beaver Ave. We did something stupid and were running out of the apt complex. I basically run right into the arms of a cop. He sees I'm underage and puts me in cuffs. When we walk outside there's a black dude running down the street punching a car and screaming like a madman. Cop looks at me and says: He's causing way more of a problem than you are and I only got one set of cuffs. Go to wherever the hell you're staying and I don't want to see you again. A couple underages that were dropped to disorderly by the local boro police who didn't have much to do aside from bust young kids drinking.
Typical racist cop.

I'm practically posting this from a prison cell. I'm pretty sure there are atleast two county jails that keep a bed open just for me.

Once when I was 15 for beating up 3 other kids that tried to jump me in the mall (it was around Christmas time so the cops were already in the mall); no charges.

Once for a DUI when I was 21.

The DUI was enough for me; I've been a good boy ever since.

friends were driving around stealing street signs. I was in the backseat underage with a glass of whiskey. cop pulls us over and smells it on the breath. just had to do community service and put on probation

2 times arrested - 1 time taken to the jail in Rosarito Beach in Mexico but not charged. Both DUI 10 months apart about 30 years ago. The 2nd one wasn't anything special but did get me 48 in LA County Jail.

The first one, my friend and I were going home from a Styx concert at the Forum in Inglewood. We had been drinking a pretty good bit. I'm sure I was swerving pretty badly and got pulled over, cuffed and taken away. They wouldn't let my friend drive my truck, nor would they take him with us so they left him on the side of the freeway, in, I think, Compton or close to it. I was taken to jail in Watts. Now, both of us are white, long-haired teens wearing Styx jersey-style concert shirts.

In the jail they gave me my own cell and I had to call my 70 year old grandmother to come get me, in Watts, because my parents were out of town and none of my friends would have had bail money and were all probably hammered, too. She wasn't pleased.

My friend never did say how he got home. He wasn't pleased either...
