Having My Draft Early- June 15th- Need Help (1 Viewer)

I am the commissioner of a new keeper league. I wanted to make draft day an event with food and beer and of course have it on a Saturday. The only problem is that the only Saturday day we could all meet together is in a month on June 15th. I know it's early but its better than having to have it online.

This is my question- Is there any suggestions about how to do a homemade draft board? I figured just poster board and marker but didn't know if someone might have a website that they use get this stuff pre-made. All the sites I have checked out don't ship out boards and player labels until June.

We use posterboard n markers. Write draft pick n team name in the box. Works fine

I've used FJ Fantasy Sports twice in the past for a board/stickers with good results. It says that they are starting to ship out 2013 boards on May 28th this year. They are also good about rush shipments if needed.

I personally like using a premade set of stickers because the positions are easily identifiable by color and the names are readable from across the room.

Try fandraft.com. It's software you download on your laptop. Just hook up your laptop to a big screen TV or projector. I used it last year for my draft and everyone loved it. It's basically an electronic draft board. It has all the players. You just start typing a name and it auto fills the rest. Then you click Draft and it automatically lists the player below the team that drafted him. Different positions are different colors. It even announces each pick and which team is on the clock. Also has a timer.

I highly recommend it.

Markers and paper are so 2012!
