Assistants have been fielding calls for months, but they're confident Harbaugh will be coaching somewhere next year.

He's a weird guy..:gives random pre game speeches that no one understands and isn't reall engaging with his team and staff. He's never done anything to building loyalty (outside of winning), so when the times got tough, nobody really had his back.

He's not going back to Michigan...would be shocking to all within that organization. He's an NFL coach from here. Maybe that changes with a ring or two.

If McCarthy had coached Smith, he might be awesome. Which has nothing to do with Harbaugh. McCarthy is the better coach, always was. Has the ring to prove it. Has the QB to prove it. Look he's obviously a very bright football mind. But he's lack the emotional intelligence to be a top level NFL head coach. He is basically Rex Ryan but as an offensive mind instead of a defensive mind. Neither has the professionalism (not sure if that's the right word) to be a true NFL head coach. Their act sours on NFL men.
