It's a football question, but to be fair I'm asking on behalf of the W@gering thread in the FFA. When the Giants win the toss, what do they normaly do? I know the Patriots always defer.

Coughlin wanted the ball in the 2nd half against GB, and I believe the same against SF. I'll double check my DVR here but I believe they won the toss again in SF, and deferred.

I don't know that the Giants have a constant that they always elect to receive versus defer, however I'm under the same impression as teh last poster in that the Giants won the toss and elected to defer. They won the OT toss too.
