Table shuffleboard as good as the larger floor/ground version? Obviously the official size court wouldn't typically fit in a game room.

Better
Reason I ask is there's one of those exactly (though probably shorter, 9ft vs whatever that one is) on CL. Might be just what I'm looking for.
Showed that to both wife and daughter. from both. Daughter, "what are you, 80?"
or old enough to go to a bar. I've always liked those things.

I've got to be honest I wouldn't put any of these things in

You'll never use them enough to justify the cost.... you think you will... everyone thinks they will

but in reality they are all cool for about a year or so and then they just collect dust.

That's just how these things work.

Take whatever money you're going to dump on this and either just go on a nice vacation you'll definitely enjoy, or better yet invest in and retire a month early.

But if you must, put in the dart board because those can be had cheap and move on.... but no one is going to play you.
Ah, OK, cool. A completely empty room and some extra cash in my pocket is definitely preferable.I must say, though, this response from you certainly surprised me.
My basement is finished and a similar size. I have nothing in it but have thought of buying many of the things you mention. I have the dart board. I like darts, no one plays. No one plays anything.
Maybe it's you, Buzz Killington

It does seem like it would be fun.

Exactly. Lots of bars have these and it's certainly not a game for old people. In fact, I'd say the exact opposite.
