Pickle Rody
IBL Representative
I have always tried to lend a hand to those in my league who could use it. I especially have tried to help one particular individual each and every year since year two began (starting year five and still helping!) I have streamlined my own yearly process of evaluation and projection and thus try to help out those in my league that might need a little push to become more competitive. I make suggestions, I hint at some of my thoughts on particular players (Vets & Rooks alike, and don't throw up smokescreens), I hand off mags that I'm finished with & each and every year I show up at the Draft and then the annual Awards Meeting with my FBG clothing on.
This year is the first year that others (2) in my league have subscribed to FBG's. I'm actually glad they are now here. It will make them more competetive. The thing is, they were already competitive. Now they will be more so.
I like competition. I am no expert. I just do my homework and succeed at a fairly high level even when obstacles (injuries, poor performance, bad luck, NFL player legal troubles) are thrown in my way.
I was just wondering if any others out there did the same for league mates.....or am I in the rarity? BTW, I hold no preferences when it comes to league mates, the guy I help more than others is related in some weird way (I married his cousin, now divorced 6 years,) but I help him the most because he needs it the most. He does not ask questions all the time, but when he does, I give him an honest reply.

edit: I've already polled in Free For All, but that doesn't seem like the right place....could a mod combine the two? Or at least delete this one early and move the other here?
