As I understand it the Chiefs are in rebuilding mode
No one in the organization is expecting much this year
I figure they are fighting it out with the Lions for the #1 pick and maybe they will get the franchise QB that they have not had since Len Dawson
Of course all of this is easy for me to say because I am not a Chiefs fan

huge KC fan.....
who would do a better job with this team...?....seriously....I don't think the head coach is the problem.....
KC fans you are getting about what we expected....flashes of desire (Denver game) but mostly overmatched
Herm is the sacrificial lamb here....he is taking one for the organization.....no coach could win with this team....after awhile, the writing is on the wall even for the players, so trying to motivate them is almost a hopeless task, sure they should be motivated by the money, but even if Herm is Mr Rah Rah it can only go so far....and I'm sure LJ (one of their best players) isn't exactly Mr. Sunshine and very helpful when things are down.....
I agree there are much better coaches out there, but NOBODY would be winning with this team....Herm has the type of personality that can ride this out, he should actually get some credit for being willing to stick it out....
They HAVE to get a QB that will keep teams honest and an upgrade at WR2 is essential....maybe they should keep their #1 pick next year, take their franchise QB (whoever that is) and then trade the rest of their picks to Detroit for Roy Williams...
