I know; just one game but I thought the guys that follow the Ravens closely could add some detailed thoughts that are more than just what a casual onlooker might have seen.
It probably isn't fair to judge them off a single game against one of the top defenses in the league. That would be like saying Tom Brady isn't that good cause he struggled against the 49ers D last night.

He...struggled last night? Dang! I'll take that every week! 35+ points in my league last night.I get what you mean but that's a good example. looking past the numbers and seeing if the "process" is changing. that's what I'm asking. Is it more of the same or can some of the guys that really tune in to the raves tell that there are fundamental differences.

Yes, he struggled, in real terms. All of those yards don't mean a lot when it took you 446 attempts to get there. 2 TDs (1 passing, 1 rushing), 2 turnovers and a poor YPA is struggling, especially by his standards.
I don't understand the timing behind it. Cam probably should have been gone last offseason, but by week 14 (when you are 9-4 or whatever) you just kind of roll with what got you there, imo.

One of my friends says they're making room for Norv. But, without even discussing whether that's a good move or not, they wouldn't have needed to fire Cam to make that happen.

Agreed. It's not like the Ravens can petition the NFL for another training camp to get Caldwell's offense installed before playing their last three games. How much can you change on the fly at this time of year?
Follow up... IF the Ravens beat the Giants this week, any chance they rest players in week 17 or will they want to keep working on things with the new OC?
