I'll just say two things. One, comedy is contextual. The writer has to understand time and place and what will pass for funny and what won't. Second, good comics are like poets or rock musicians. They're best when they're young and anxious and things are urgent. Aside from Rodney Dangerfield and Bob Newhart, I can't think of a comic that aged well. By "aged well" I mean wasn't a basic version of their prior uproarious self.
Are you a stand up philosopher now?

The creator of that looks like the piss boy.
Gahhhh... so it sucked then?I think I'll share the feelings of the world's first art critic on this one.
I didn't watch it. And really, my opinion on comedy movies shouldn't be listened to anyway. I don't think many comedic movies are very funny. Especially one like this where the creators set out to make something exceedingly offensive.Gahhhh... so it sucked then?I think I'll share the feelings of the world's first art critic on this one.
I have no idea where you got this idea from.Especially one like this where the creators set out to make something exceedingly offensive.

In the beginning the Universe was created. To be fair, the actual history of the world is itself quite offensive.
Liked both episodes last night. Seems like it's more of Part I, with more contemporary gags. I enjoyed it. Mostly just silly with several LOL moments mixed in.

I liked the first episode. Definitely more on the silly end with chuckles and occasional lol’s as you put it. Kama Souptra and Romanov bits had me cracking up :rolling:
Liked the contemporary anachronisms gags like Anastasia being a TikTok influencer for example or Mel Brooks being digitally de-aged. Can’t wait to watch the rest, just the massive amount of celebrity cameo’s is fun and reminds me of enjoying the first few seasons of Drunk History episodes.
