THE HITTER

Every year that I can remember, there are typically a few rookie holdouts that are trying to squeeze a few more dollars out of the team that drafted them. Most of these holdouts actually carry into missing OTAs, then preseason games too. A few even carry over into the regular season.
With the OTAs already missed, and possibly shorter training camps on the horizon, I personally think rookies are gonna be late in the learning curve already for this year. With the implementation of a new rookie salary cap, and the idea that fans are at the end of their ropes regarding millionaires fighting over money...what, if anything, does an agent push his client to do? Get in the good graces by getting in camp and playing for whatever is offered? Or use the shortened off-season/free agency period as leverage for his player's value (ie the team didn't/couldn't find another free agent available so my client is more valuable to the team than ever)? Also, if the latter happens, who do you foresee being the rookies who do hold out?
