The past several years I always seem to end up with squads with a bunch of good but not great players. Playing the matchups is key for me as often I'll have 4-5 decent guys competing for one flex spot. Of course you need to look at the defensive matchups, but was just wondering how much credence you give to the home guy? Do you often let home field advantage be the deciding factor? If so, does it more often than not work out for you?
Also, in a tight race, will you always give the nod to the RB over the WR? I'm in a yardage heavy league with PPR so often times I'm tempted to take a WR2 over an RBBC. Thoughts on this as well? Thanks.
I've been doing fantasy since 2000 but haven't tasted a championship since my rookie year. I think my problem is not enough studs and too many above average guys. Next year I'm going to try to make a point to have no bench depth whatsoever.
