Homeland (1 Viewer)

Help me out here. Stopped watching a couple seasons ago. The last thing I remember is Carrie getting kidnapped and Saul meeting up with some lawyer or terrorist at a country club or something. Should I pick back up watching or is it still a train wreck?
Last season was compatible and actually quite good at times. This season is shaping up to stink, maybe the CIA HQ will get blown up again.
All caught up. Enjoyed Season 4. Actually like Season 5 now that Carrie isn't super mom. You were some kind of undercover agent. Is this how it really goes down bro?

I've lost track on who they're after now. It was that one terrorist last season that they never got. Now they're running from some people and trying to find the document leak that was completely random. Web cam dopes? The journalist girl is an idiot. Saul appears to be trying to solve Syria's problems by himself. Now he's banging the woman who's apparently trying to kill Carrie and Quinn. :loco:

The US has the weakest security system in the world on this show. Blow up the CIA. Infiltrate the US Embassy with a diversionary tactic through a secret passage and then shoot up the place and almost kill the director of the CIA. :X

Missed Carrie getting back on her meds, is she back on them? I liked it when she ask her boyfriend on the previous episode, "Do you want to f$@K a bad girl?" Anyway, I think this season so far has been pretty entertaining, interesting and looking forward to the next episode.

Was thinking same thing. Appears to be back on them. And love the bad girl line!

it's the people behind 24... where our top security team is regularly infiltrated by temps.

But this season is working for me better than previous... not sure why. less Carrie maybe? rider of rohan chick is up to something.

Saul let a little poon cloud his vision by keeping that one lady around. I wish he'd just go ahead and hook up with Carrie and get it over with.

With advertisements for the new Billionaire show, I guess that puts an end to Brody ever coming back. What happened to his family?

It was slow compared to most of this season but what was bad? We pretty much saw all of that coming. Except for the Quinderblock friend of course. I'm hoping that's just delirium setting in.

Carrie looks better in the wig.
I agree with that. She should get a better wig, but the color worked. In before "Carrie looked even better in the mask."
I'm just glad she put the mask on. In past seasons they'd miss details. For instance her working covertly in the ME with blonde hair.

So things were going along fine then the episode got Homelanded and a terrorist stumbles upon Quinn.

That flack vest WOULD NOT stop a 7.62 rifle round. :no:I do like crazy Carrie though, she's growing on me.
I was wondering that too. Even if it did stop it you know the victim wouldn't be all spry and crap after.
Yeah, broken ribs and the like. Probably like being kicked by a Clydesdale in best case scenario.
Not to mention bat#### crazy, quivering, shaking Carrie never would've made that shot at night on one knee aiming through the forest at a guy wearing all black. Then again she just took her meds ten minutes prior so she was probably all instant stable again. Homeland.

I'm two episodes behind but im liking it so far. Seems more like a spy thriller than a show about terrorists now. Hopefully the next two episodes don't make me eat my words

Who's the white private spy

That's a sex machine to all the chicks?

Quinn, ya, damn right

Who is the man that would risk his neck

For his brother man?

Quinn, can you dig it?

Who's the cat that won't cop out

When there's danger all about?

Quinn, right on

They say this cat Quinn is a bad mother

Shut your mouth

But I'm talkin' 'bout Quinn

Then we can dig it

He's a complicated man

But no one understands him but his woman

Peter Quinn

Enjoying it so far but not sure why Carrie is calling that one lady. They never liked each other. Saul and Dal are super spies but still can't pick up on that lady playing them?

I thought Carrie recognized her voice when she answered the phone that belong to the Russian who tried to kill Quinn a couple episodes back.

yeah so dumb. I guess she's desperate now but she tells everyone don't trust anyone and then she calls someone working with saul knowing full well someone infiltrated his kill order.

I even questioned Saul for telling her anything. He ran her into the bathroom and told her all his secrets like a 12yo when he's being framed by his own. Extra dumb. But she is giving him the secks so that probably explains his lack of judgement along with his sword fight with Dar. Still really dumb.

I was into it this season- but the Quinn terrorist coincidence and Saul blabbing away when he knows somebody is a mole/spy... straight out of the loopily bad 24 playbook. I'm waiting for the following two things to happen: a mountain lion to stalk Carrie... a freelancer to come into the CIA and be the mastermind.

I could deal with the Quinn thing. A bit far fetched, but not that bad compared to most everything else from that episode. My prediction is that some Israel dude is gonna snipe the sniper that has a target on Carrie. Saul to the rescue. Maybe Carrie and Saul knew Allison was bad and that was the point of all of this. To draw out her helpers? Wait, we already did that with Crazy Carrie undercover in the hospital. I haven't exactly bought the Dar-Saul fights and I think he's in on the plan also. Maybe that's also why the documents got leaked. To set Allison in motion? It's all bit far fetched but now I'm talking myself into it. The plane explosion and the guy in Amsterdam are the only things that don't exactly fit. Maybe.
