Horn May Miss Rest Of Regular Season (1 Viewer)

Word out of New Orleans is WR Joe Horn, who re-aggravated a groin injury in Week 13, could be sidelined for the rest of the regular season. Horn initially suffered the injury in early November and was forced to sit out two games.

Nice post; I'm gonna ride Reggie Bush now in my PPR league to the championship :banned:

"Joe Horn can't cover Joe Horn!". I love this guy. It would be sad if indeed he was done for the year, especially considering that NO has a real shot this year.

Cooper is behind Horn on the depth chart, for what its worth.
Correct. Copper is Horn's backup, and Henderson is Colston's backup.
It may say that on the official depth Chart, but I believe Henderson is really our #3  Hederson has some problems catching from time to time, but Cooper has trouble catching all the time.
I haven't looked at the official depth chart. But I've seen the games, and when Horn hasn't played, Copper has usually been the guy in there for him in two-WR sets (with Colston). Henderson is out there in three-WR sets, which the Saints employ quite a bit. When Colston was out, Henderson was usually in his place during two-WR sets (along with Horn).

As long as he keeps making catches like the one for his TD this week, I'm riding him to the championship. There is plenty to go around for Colston, Bush, and Devery.

For what it's worth, while television stations have been calling him out for the year the local radio here has stated he's day-to-day and those reports of his demise have been grossly exaggerated.

That said, he probably won't see the field until the playoffs anyway, to make sure he's 100%

Would you trust him enough to start him with the possibility he reaggravates it and is removed from the game? I wouldnt, thats why I dropped him.

If he plays again this regular season I would. Payton's not putting him out again until 1)he's completely ready 2)it's the playoffs.

From RotoWorld:

NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports the Saints expect to hold Joe Horn (groin) out the final three games in hopes he'll be healthy for the playoffs.

The move makes sense due to the emergence of Devery Henderson, Terrance Copper, and most recently, Jamal Jones. Marques Colston is also now close to full health. In shallow fantasy leagues, consider giving Horn the boot.
