When someone sees who is starting, could they please post the info? I'm guessing it won't be Brown, but it could be Foster or Moats.

It doesn't matter who "starts".

Kubiak will split the carries among his three backs in some unpredictable ratio based on a combination of "hot hand" and who he think matches up better.

If you are in desperate need of a back pick up Foster and start him. He has talent and should produce ok numbers.

Stay away....far away.
I know....but they play the Rams this week...so you have to at least consider them....
It is anybody's guess...all the backs are pretty much garbage. I would stick with Brown. But what the heck do we know...Kubiak is a tool.
Kubiak is a tool? :goodposting: I think if you are looking for a "Quinton Ganther vs. OAK" type of performance, then you have to think the potential is there with A. Foster facing the Rams...

Would I rather be starting Ronnie Brown this week? Sure...

Brown sucks. Moats fumbled again. Arian Foster is the guy to own for this week's game at minimum, and I say that as a Foster skeptic. I did not believe Kubiak would actually get him the touches against the Seahawks and the coach proved me wrong.

I listened to his radio show yesterday and it certainly sounds like Foster's stock is up. Sure, Moats and Brown will still get their touches, but the tea leaves say Foster is RB1 with Kubiak right now.

Q: "Gary, how did you size up [Foster's] first game in the back field, and do you think we'll see more of him in these next three games?"

Kubiak: "Yeah, I thought he did a good job. Our goal in the game was to get him about eight to ten touches, and we could get a look at where he's at. He touched it a little bit more than that. I was very impressed with the few passes he caught, just getting the ball downhill... He handled himself in protection for the most part, and to me, because of that I think we come back and give him more this week. So obviously his play is gonna pick up. The thing I was very impressed with was that even though he played on offense, he still played well for Joel [Dreessen] on special teams, so he really helped out in a lot of areas."

Foster turned a short pass into a 20-yard gain. With time running out, he caught a 15-yard pass and got out of bounds with one second left, setting up a 48-yard field-goal try that Kris Brown missed.

“We’re impressed with what Foster did,” Kubiak said. “He can learn a lot of things, but he handled his job in protection for the most part pretty good, so I think we just get him involved more, give him an opportunity.”

Brown (6-3, 237) is the largest. Foster (6-1, 225) has ideal size. Moats (5-8, 210) has the most problems blocking, which is essential to keeping Schaub upright.

“When Ryan ran, he ran well,” Kubiak said. “Ryan’s struggles are in pass protection. What kept him off the field is he fumbled. I took him off the field.”

Moats, who has his season average up to 4 yards a carry to go with four TDs, lost a fumble in the second half and wasn’t heard from again.

“We’ll continue to work with him,” Kubiak said. “He’s got to protect the ball.”

I would go Foster if desperate for a RB, especially in a PPR league. He caught 4 passes last week and 3 of those were before Moats fumbled. At the very least, I would think Foster will be getting the catches ala Slaton's role this week.

Bleh, I picked up Brown last week and started him in my TD-only league, as all indications seemed to point to him get some PT, would be the starter, and most/all the goal line chances. But apparently the Texans didn't get that memo...

Me, too.I knew I was doomed when it was 3rd and 2 on the 4 yard line and Moats got the carry (for a TD). :wall:
