According to Friday's players in the news, he did, same with Rodgers. Both game time decions. My guess is they both play, but do they finish the game?i thought he partially practiced?
Friday's injury report does say 'limited participation in practice'i thought he partially practiced?
Against his old teamThe quesion is, if this guy doesn play, what can Leftwich do back here behind that line?
Thanks. Makes me a little more confident that Ben will go Sunday night. Jags 24 or 26th versus the pass, 3rd string RB = Pass 45+Steelers Beat Writer Concurs With Fantasy Coaches Leaning Towards Roethlisberger
This should be a "pass-first" week for the Steelers offense and Roethlisberger is ready to lead the attack.

I have Big Ben and Griese as my backup. Orton is available in my league. Was thinking of picking him up this morning instead of Griese. As soon as I play Orton, Griese will throw for 400+ and 3TDs. It's just been one of those seasons.I am playing Griesae over him again this week! It bit me last week. But two weeks ago Griese tripled his production.
Very interesting read. Thanks for posting this. Now I'm more confused on who to start than ever. Jax is 24 against the pass. You would think Jax def would play pass protection on almost every down since Pitt has no running game this week. Will that 24 againt the pass play like a top 10 if they do indeed play pass protection most of the game? If that is the game plan, how will that affect Santonio Holmes? Will he get any attention in this scheme, or would it just be the Hines Ward/Heath Miller Show?I have Meachum I could plug in on Monday night, but I'd rather go with the steadier player in Holmes than the home run hitter in Meachum.Sure, the Jaguars will come after Roethlisberger, particularly if they know the Steelers are emphasizing the pass. Let them come. There are ways of halting a rush, and Roethlisberger is capable of making those changes. Screens, short slants and draws will slow down the rush.
From what I hear Holmes has a great 1 on 1 matchup this week compared to Hines who will likely be covered by Mathis. I think the Steelers will want to take advantage of this mismatch, and even if it's a slant or quick hit, he could go the distance or at least rack up the YAC with his matchup. From the above linked story:Steelers Beat Writer Concurs With Fantasy Coaches Leaning Towards Roethlisberger
