How bad are the LBs? (1 Viewer)

For a 12 team (zealot) league where we start 2-3 LB, am I doomed, is this a serviceable group, How bad do I need to look into a trade?

Briggs, Lance

Spikes, Takeo

June, Cato

Bruschi, Tedy

Greenway, Chad

Bailey, Boss

Chillar, Brandon (STL)

I have even went so far as to put in a bid on Matt McCoy of the Eagles. :X

I think those LB's are fine on a week to wek basis. And something to think about. I am also in Zealots and defensive scoring isn't critical enough in Zealots to even worry about as long as you have 3 good starting LB's.

Your LBs are not terrible, but trading Vilma takes your corp from being probably one of the better ones to just another unit. I would not make any crazy trades as remember guys like A. Thomas and Demario Williams finished in the top 10 when they were not even close to the radar screen at this time last year. BTW, last i heard McCoy is slated to be the starting WLB in Philly so getting him now for hopefully just a few dollars is a nice quiet move.

I agree with Tex.Your group will be servicable this season.

I agree; you still have a decent starting lineup.

It looks like you'll have four guys you can trot out every week.

Don't know the playing time for the bottom three yet.

Other early possible starting WLBs (sleepers) that may be available include Anthony Simmons, NOS; Holdman, WAS; Keith Adams, CAR.

That looks like an above-average group to me. The top three guys are all solid starters, Bruschi's a good fill-in, and Greenway should be decent this year and possibly improving as time goes by. Sounds decent enough to me.

Above average with very good potential.

If Spikes is healthy, he, June, and Bruschi are a nice trio, and you have good depth.

What did you get for Vilma?

Trade was a little bit more involved but essentially I got Darrell Jackson, did give up a bit more and got a little more too.
Good trade for you IMO. You still have decent LBs and added a solid WR.

I'm a pretty big fan of Vilma, but I'd certainly do that.

Update: Just acquired McCoy for the minimum (50 zbucks). :)
The other owners must be sleeping because McCoy could very well be a Top 15 LB this year. I got him for 100 ZB's a few months ago in a Z-League, but that's before anyone knew who he is.

Yeah, i was pretty shocked with all the talk of McCoy I got him for the minimum. I'm in a bid war with another owner now over Danaeil (sp) Manning of the Bears. I was 8 minutes away from getting him for the 50 zbucks and now it's up to 550. Think he's worth it?

Just drafted him as the 64th LB taken(round 31) in 12 team keeper. No rookies. That starts in a day or two. Hope to get Hawk there.
