Redskins wide receiver Santana Moss strained his hamstring during Sunday's loss to the Colts, but the Washington Times is reporting that the ailment is not serious.
Our View
The Redskins are on the bye in week eight, which is probably a good thing for Moss. He pulled up lame while running a route, and we have to believe the speedster would have been limited in the coming practice week.
Hamstring injuries are hard to judge. The bye week helps him to heal, but it also will conceal the severity of his injury for a week until they file their next injury report.
It bears mention that when he left the game yesterday it was already out of hand, so it's not necessarily a reflection of the injury's severity that he did not return to the game.
