Perhaps we work for the same ####yy Co.One of the many reasons I'm leaving my company of 30 years is that leadership started using COLA increases to balance the budget. We've had three in the past six years, one was 2% and the other two were 1.5%. Penny wise/pound foolish has become the way of the realm here.
Ford still giving out pensions?Just had our compensation announcements this week.
Merit - 2.92% - would have felt better psychologically at 3%
Bonus - 76% of target - we had 10B+ in profit - 2nd best year ever. This one is affecting morale.
Maybe you didn't get the big bonus, but it is still better than the shaft.Whatever it is, my boss will hoo and haa about how good it is. Then I'll talk to the guys I work with and find out they got about the exact same.
