Jesse Winker, any time you feel like getting started would be an okay thing.

Isn't he still hurt?Time to bring Senzel up. I don’t care where you play him. This is disgusting.

Are you in the diamond club tomorrow?doowain said:Taking my son to his first game tomorrow against the Dodgers. Sitting behind home plate. He's gonna love it (been to a couple Dragons games already).
Hope to see some Puig fireworks. Wanted Castillo, but Mahle vs Buehler has the potential for a high scoring game.

Dietrich about to be above-the-radarThe Dietrich and Iglesias signings have been under-the-radar excellent moves for the team.
You guys got the Astros. Maybe I’m bad luck for them except in playoff games in Cleveland.RIght after the top of the 9th, I had to take my wife to the airport. It's not far from home, so I hit "pause" on the DVR, even though this was EXACTLY the type of game I'm used to seeing the Reds lose (get the lead, give it up late, offense ####s off for the rest of the game).
What a nice surprise to come back to, especially the 2-out hitting.
Ya lollygag the ball around the infield... - Craig Counsell in the locker room, probablyI love Puig!
Roark won’t be here next year regardless so he probably goes today. Wood might be, but even if he’s not the other 4 you mentioned is a great anchor only needing to sign what amounts to a #5 starter.Bauer, Castillo, Gray, Wood, DeSclafani and Roark is a pretty solid rotation.
ETA: at least until one gets traded tomorrow
Right on queue! Roark to Oakland.Eephus said:Bauer, Castillo, Gray, Wood, DeSclafani and Roark is a pretty solid rotation.

As expected. I'm looking forward to watching Wood ROS (and I mean actually watching him, assuming Dish and the Fox RSNs decide to stop jerking aroundcheese said:Roark won’t be here next year regardless so he probably goes today. The offense could have some holes, but that’s easier to fix over the winter than the rotation and the ballpark doesn’t hurt.
Unfortunately not, He's not considered very good defensively. It's one of the reasons he stuck on the Reds for as long as he did.Scooter to the Giants for just cash, apparently. Sucks that he got hurt; gotta think he'd have brought a good return if he was hitting like the last 2 years.
Fair enough, I should have said better return, even if not great.Unfortunately not, He's not considered very good defensively. It's one of the reasons he stuck on the Reds for as long as he did.
Might need to put netting up in the outfield for fan safety. What's going to happenifwhen Aquino hits the actual Toyota truck? Does the fan still win it? Will they have to pay for the dent/glass repair?
He swings angry :swoon:
The problem seems to be primarily when he's not in a potential save situation.Don’t know what is wrong with Iglesias, but I think I’ve seen about enough of him as the closer this year.
Yeah, wasn’t the reasoning there he wouldn’t have the stamina or whatever? And here we are a few seasons later and it is pretty much expected 5 to 6 innings is pretty much max for a starter, teams are experimenting with “openers”, and we spent a couple years trying to figure out how to use him for 4 out saves. The problem seems to be primarily when he's not in a potential save situation.
I still think they should have kept him on the path of a starter.
I think he developed some shoulder problems early on as a starter and they decided to move him to the BP at that point.Yeah, wasn’t the reasoning there he wouldn’t have the stamina or whatever?
