How did Gates look? (1 Viewer)

Pretty good numbers. From what I understand from recaps, he was in and out for around 60% of the plays..

For those of us that couldn't see the game though-- how did he look? Slow? Explosive?

Like Gates at 75% enough to be close to the #1 TE the rest of the way. Thinking Bress might have other idea's in NO though... That was impressive.

He looked good. Most of the plays he wasn't in were running plays.

His numbers might have been padded even more if Rivers would not have forgotten is was 4th down on the Chargers' final offensive play. Looked like the coaches were limiting him for now, but as mentioned, Gates at 75% is really good. He would have scored a 2nd TD, but the Jets were called for interference in the end zone. That led to the Tolbert plunge.

That's great to hear. I guess that type of injury can flare up at any point, like it did early in the season, but a 75% Gates is in my lineup!
