i started planning for 2012 in 2010.

When you don't have to pound on your chest and say "look at me, i'm a shark."
When you don't have to pat yourself on the back and fnd a way to announce your "shark moves" by proceeding to tell everyone the great move you made or draft you had while indirectly answering someone's question.
When you can listen as much as you talk and remain unbiased.
If you're fishing, you're not a shark; you're on the wrong side of the water.
When you can do all these things and have the confidence to do your own thing based on what you know and have come to know, and then look back at it later and see that you had success.
The true sharks around here are a lot like real life sharks; you don't notice them much until its too late.

Ha, I did have 2 drafts recently were people were cursing me. So I guess, I feel best when people are cursing at me. I think? I go by league type.
Standard Team D = Guppie
IDP = Shark
With all the research available, if you're not in an IDP.....youre just not a shark.

Fortunately, most every league has them. Guppies. Newbies. Donks. Novii.
Perhaps they don't understand the principles of Value Based Drafting. Perhaps they never read David Dodd's "The Perfect Draft" series. Perhaps they use cheatsheets from a mainstream media website. Perhaps they never took a statistics course or know anything of "regression to the mean" analysis. Perhaps they just have what we in the business refer to as a "low fantasy IQ".
