How do you rank the rookie TEs? (1 Viewer)

Most of the time Tight Ends don't make a fantasy impact until several years into the league and most don't make a fantasy impact at all. I especially like Lance Kendricks from this draft. I know Rudolph is ranked #1, but there are guys I like better in this draft. I like Lance Kendricks a lot. I think he has Finley and Graham potential and he's in a great spot. Other talented TEs from this class are Jordan Cameron, Robert Housler (beast potential and in a great spot if they ever get a QB) , and maybe even Virgil Green (freakish athletically) or Julius Thomas (raw, but may have higher upside than Green) but I don't like that both went to the same team. Luke Stocker is a complete TE but he will need to wait on Winslow getting hurt again (and he will). Even DJ Williams has talent but he couldn't have landed in a worse spot. Obviously not all of these guys will be fantasy studs but there sure seem to be a lot of talented TEs in this draft class. Most will fail, a couple will become studs, and some will be serviceable. How do you rank the TEs from this draft class?

Lance Kendricks great situation and has stud potential

Kyle Rudolph In a relatively bad situation with Shiancoe still there and 2 receivers in Harvin and Rice. Ponder is mobile and could throw those short passes to Rudolph but Shiancoe is still there

Jordan Cameron Great talent... I think he is this years Jimmy Graham like the thread as the Browns have an aging TE in Ben Watson like Shockey. I think Cameron will be highly regarded at the end of the year.

Robert Housler In a great situation and probably fit in very well. Great receiver

Julius Thomas Good situation, probably battle it out with Green.

Virgil Green see Julius Thomas

Luke Stocker In a not so good situation with Winslow still there but injuries come in on Winslow. Stocker is a solid TE

DJ Williams very talented receiver that landed in the worst situation ever. Finley will be on the field forever as he IMO will be the #1 receiver for the Packers. Finley could get injured and Williams could showcase his talents.

I wouldn't be down on Randolph since the vikes did use a second on him, they won't have him sit for two years. I bet he takes over for shianco next season.

Dyno is the only place they have value, redraft stay away.

Unless Finley gets hurt again. If they don't move him off the line more that could very well happen. If you have Finley I'd grab him too. They weren't that happy with Quarles and Crabtree.

1. Kendricks Best possible situation, should produce low TE1 high TE2 type numbers.

2. Rudolph Best talent in the draft, landed in an all right situation.

3. Cameron Stud potential.

4. Thomas Again stud potential.

5. Housler Good situation, but not as high of a ceiling as Cameron or Thomas

I disagree here with Housler i think talent wise he is the 4th best overall TE prospect. (Rudolph,Kendrick,Stocker) Thomas and Cameron are more of just athletes playing TE and that is really really high risk high reward. I think Housler can step in from day 1 and prolly be the most productive out of all the rookie TE's and is a very good athlete and has excellent hands.
