I'm looking at the average amount spent on each player, but I think they are assuming a 12 team league on ESPN...what if my league has 16 teams....will it be the same expected value?

More bidders means more money in the pool. Adjust prices generally proportional to the increase. So by 1/3rd or x1.33 in this case.
