Bump because I just found out I'm redrafting from the 4 spot.I'm more interested in Pace's status and concensus opinion on whether the oline has made any improvement from last year's chaos. I have the general impression that it's improved marginally, say from an F last year to a D+ this year with upside to C+Since Jackson signed, I haven't heard much about how he looks... Condition? Learning new offense? Any word from the homers on how quickly Jackson is catching up?
:X Outside of LT and arguably Westbrook, no other RB has as much of a featured role in their team's offensive production. He's a steal anywhere after the 3rd pick IMO.
Would you two leave ADP on the board at 3 and take SJAX? Dont you have to take Minnisota's Oline before you take STL's Oline? I'm mean I'm a big SJAX fan, but I'll pee my pants if I get ADP at 4...:X Outside of LT and arguably Westbrook, no other RB has as much of a featured role in their team's offensive production. He's a steal anywhere after the 3rd pick IMO.
I think so too. So I was absolutely elated when I was offered a trade for the 1.08 spot and he was still on the board. Sounded even better since I already had LT with my first pick. My WR will likely suffer but being able to field LT and Jackson every week is an offer I just couldn't refuse. He's a steal anywhere after the 3rd pick IMO.
This would probably cause a significant loosening of the bowels on my part.I think so too. So I was absolutely elated when I was offered a trade for the 1.08 spot and he was still on the board. Yeah, I really hated to see those boxers go, they were my favorite pair, but I should be able to afford a few hundred more come December...This would probably cause a significant loosening of the bowels on my part.I think so too. I loved it when he fell to me at 5 overall. But I have concerns about that line.StL homers -- please sound off !!!so no concerns about the shaky St Louis O-line?!Bulger looks like he's lost it , the WR's are a makeshift bunch, aside from Holt.they have what looks to be one of the worst defenses in the NFL time of possession will be down, scoring will be down, offensive production will be down..Sjax runs hard, only a matter of time before he's hurt, again..
I wouldn't let his schedule deter you. I believe that stud RBs get their #s regardless of schedule. However, the other concerns expressed above were enough for me to take AP over Sjax with my #3 pick last weekend.Looking at the Schedule I think the first half could be rough.@PhillyGiants@SeahawksBills (my sleeper D)Bye@SkinsCowboys@Pats (If you can, trade for SJax here, this is as low as you should find his value)Cards@Jets@49ersBearsDolphins@CardsSeahawks@49ers@FalconsThat is a nice postseason run. If you don't draft him at 4 definately look to trade for him week 7~8.
I agree, but when it's a very close decision sometimes a little extra information makes a difference. I would take AP personally but that also means you need to handcuff him, while SJax basically has no handcuff (would you really go out of your way to draft Brian Leonard?). That adds a little bit of draft value to the back end of your draft.I wouldn't let his schedule deter you. I believe that stud RBs get their #s regardless of schedule. IMO this schedule is very overrated@ Philly - toughest of the early games but not the Steel CurtainGiants - at home and no Usi or Strahan@Seahawks - see PhillyBills - still have a lot to prove but at home where Bulger can't miss i.e Sjax will be more than fine@Skins - ask DWill and Stewart about them...Cowboys - tough but at home@Pats - My grandfather would drop the average age on that DLooking at the Schedule I think the first half could be rough.@PhillyGiants@SeahawksBills (my sleeper D)Bye@SkinsCowboys@Pats (If you can, trade for SJax here, this is as low as you should find his value)Cards@Jets@49ersBearsDolphins@CardsSeahawks@49ers@FalconsThat is a nice postseason run. He did do pretty well last year when he came back from injury with that same offense. Wasn't Pace injured last year too?Pace injury 2007so no concerns about the shaky St Louis O-line?!![]()

Ditto. There's promising info in the Bulger thread about the oline for those who are interested...I will likely be taking him at #4 in my draft unless LT, AP or Westbrook fall.
