How ESPN's QBR is flawed (1 Viewer)

They clearly are placing WAY too much emphasis on "clutch" plays or whatever you want to call them. Accuracy doesn't seem to be valued nearly highly enough. I understand wanting to include some kind of "clutch" factor, but a QB who goes 18 for 20 with 280 yards and 3 TDs mostly on first and second down throws in the first half of a game to put his team up huge is more valuable than a QB that goes 3 for 12 in the first half and then has to rally and go 10 for 18 in the second half with a bunch of "clutch" throws to win it at the end.

QBR is similar to passer rating in that it doesn't reward a player for performing well over more attempts. We all intuitively know that 15/20 200 2 is less impressive than 30/40 400 4, even though they get the same passer rating. So you will definitely see this with both systems. (e.g. Alex Smith at #3 in passer rating right now with only 126 attempts)

But this still surprises me, because my understanding is that QBs get a lot less credit for screen passes in QBR, and without the Moreno TD Tebow was 3/9 51 yards 0 TDs. The rushing TD was nice, but I still don't see how it all adds up to a better performance, unless QBR has some secret "Tebow It Factor" or "Came off the bench cold" variables in it somewhere.
