How many games will Suh be suspended? (1 Viewer)

I don't think he connected. If he did, I could easily see a couple game suspension. However, since he didn't I think it will just be a fine.

It really wasn't that bad. Maybe I am completely out of touch with how suspensions work, but I would be surprised if he got more than 1 game.

The more important question is how many Chryslers will he get? I say no games when all said and done, but fines-a-go-go

Football can be a violent game. I get that. However, any violence that's outside the actual act of playing the game, especially when a player is lying on the ground defenseless, should be dealt with severely. Suh's actions had nothing at all do do with the game itself. Nothing. The play was over.

What did he do? I was at the store...
THE LAST BOY SCOUT, opening scene
Been awhile since I've seen that movie... Like 18 years probably. Refresh my memory.I assume you're not talking about the part where the dude pulls out a gun and shoots someone on the field.
Exactly  Anyway this is Suhhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kFd-VtM0eE
Thanks for the link :thumbup:I say 2 games.

People are actually sticking up for this piece of #### thug?
Yup, what he did is completely indefensible. He was just voted by his peers as the dirtiest player in the league, and I think this incident officially removes any doubt that the players voted correctly.

I dont know. The thing is, they gotta get him under control. He is gonna kill someone at some point. Dude seems to not be able to control his temper. 1 game suspension.

On the other hand, the roughing the passer on Vandenbosch was ridiculous. Let em play.

People actually think that this and worse does not go on in every single NFL game? Good thing that the camera does not see what takes place under the pile. We would be calling for the suspension of every player in the NFL.
the difference is, suh is blatant and very aggressive about it. He kinda gets in a rage. It mighta been the key play today.

If every player in the NFL does crap like that, then suspend them all and have no football until they stop acting like violent, petulant idiots with no regard for the safety of their fellow player. If someone did this to your son on the street for no reason, you'd call for the guy's head. Just because he's wearing a uniform doesn't absolve him of a damn thing.

Maybe a game. He already had to sit out most of this game. But maybe if Goodell wants to make an example of him, it could be more.

Suh can watch games with his buddy Haynesworthless after that BS. Suspend him for 3 games for that crap. He's a d-bag.

Haynesworth's stomping on Gurode for comparison, was worse in that he tore off Gurode's helmet... stomped at his head.... stomped twice, missing the first time before connecting with Gurode's face.

Haynesworth got 5 games. Suh shouldn't be close to it. If I have to guess I'd say 1 game is a given. But I wouldnt' be shocked if it is 2 games given that he's already had some issues, and did this after meeting with Goodell to discuss behavior.

Link plus Aikman/Buck comments

Aikman says he "Jams the helmet into the turf 3 times"...some of us said smash or bash 3 times in the game thread and were called out for exaggerating but I think we just agreed with Aikman who is paid millions to comment on the games.

Buck replies with a low moan and groan like he just saw violence for the 1st time in his life.

I agree however he is going to get a suspension, just a matter of how many games. This is similar to what Fat Albert did a few years back and i would expect at least 1-2 games, 3-4 would not surprise me either and Goodell could even sit him down for the rest of the regular season. You can't do what he did and no matter if he inflicted pain or not to the other player he lost control and he's lucky he didn't make full contact on the kick or strike him in the head or chest.

Time served or maybe max one game. Otherwise it is further proof the NFL is turning into wussy league.

The jamming the head to the ground was the worse. The 'kick' was a response to getting pushed and the guy grabbing at his foot. That was not a move with the intent to hurt, he was getting away from the guy. But he will definitely get a game or two because of it being high profile

Smashing a players face down repeatedly has nothing to do with what football is about, kicking a player who is on the ground has nothing to do with what football is all about. If you think that you must be a woman, no that is disrespectful to women, you must be a moron. Suh will likely get a 2 game suspension and he will appeal and just serve 1 game.

LMOA at "smashing".
