How many rookie QBs won a playoff game? (1 Viewer)

Flacco Ben and Sanchez are a couple that I know off the top of my head.
To add on, Yates and Shaun King have as well. Not exactly a whose who of QB's. Only 1 with a championship. Additionally, like last year when Yates won, he beat another rookie QB. I'm more interested to see him beat a veteran QB.

If only the QBs were playing each other. Wilson did well against a good defense, I'm looking forward to seeing if he can do it again

This thread isnt working out as well as you had hoped.
Too many haters out there
I'd hate to back into a win like that and then brag about it after. I have a conscious though. Hawks are moving on, Russell wasn't great today, but he is a class act sp far (look it up). Btw, no one, and I mean no one, hates Wilson. I'd prob lay low and hope my team comes to atl next week a little more tuned....but ya won't...they may though...I'm quite certain some atl players were rooting for skins, especially after rg3 got dinged on the 2nd score.

Point being. Somebody has to win. He did well but nothing special b/c he was playing a rookie/injured (mostly injured) QB. He didn't have to pull any Alex Smith/NO or Eli/NE stuff that he will undoubtedly have to in order to win it all.ETA: About Washington being a good defense, see below.

Love the excuses. No one said anything while RGIII was winning and injured now it's all you're hearing.
I don't really care much. You came in here acting like winning a playoff game by a rookie puts him in with Elway and Brady. Instead he is in with Flacco and Sanchez. Wouldn't be happy to be in that group. Guy played a good game but nothing special. Completed 15-26 for 187 yards and a touchdown. Yes, he didn't have to do any more but if you think that those numbers will be good enough to win a SB, you are mistaken. And for reference, Washington isn't a decent defense 30th versus the pass and 28th overall. But don't worry, I'll be here to bump it when the Hawks bow out.

More hate, keep bringing it.

why are Seattle fans the most annoying? They take the homer thing to a new level. Its them that make me want to cheer against them.

Yes. Seattle is underrated. Keep it up ScientistSweeney.
What's prompted that? I haven't been pimping the Seahawks as unstoppable or anything else like that. My "arrogant" prediction for the game today was a late drive for Seattle to win 27-20. Slam me for stuff I do, not for what I don't. There's plenty of the former out there.

Sorry. Scientist. Redact Sweeney please.

Yep, football is a one position sport. Where do these people come from? I'm pretty sure Luck and RGIII will win their share of playoff games when their respective team's talent catches up with their own.

I don't see Luck or RGIII on that list.
:lmao: I'd rather be on a list with Luck/RGIII than Sanchez or Flacco.
For the record Flacco is the only quarterback in NFL history to make it to the playoffs every year in his first 5 seasons. The defense helps but still impressive. You can also add to the record by saying he has won at least 1 playoff game every year in the league too.

I want Seattle to win this season, and outside of my team (Carolina), they are the team that I've enjoyed watching the most this season. I love Marshawn Lynch, and Russell Wilson plus their defense makes for an entertaining team to follow.

With that said, every time I see a Seattle fanon here, it inches me closer to wanting to see them lose. I like the team, but their fanbase (at least the ones that are on this board) are the most obnoxious group I've seen.

Anybody know? I'm not sure of the answer...
Colin Kaepernick is the only rookie QB who is UNDEFEATED in post season. Just thought that needed to be thrown out there in this stupid thread.

Well, that would be fine, except Kaepernick is not a rookie. But he played one &*&*&* of a game.
oops. :lmao:
For some reason, I thought the same thing initially and luckily I looked up where he was drafted before posting and saw it was 2011.
