Like if someone is trading up from 1.2 to 1.1, is there any amount of picks that would be correct value to trade down from 1.1, I mean I think even if they gave you a 2 and 3 its still not worth it.

With all of that I can figure it out for you pretty closely from a pick value standpoint.

I bet Jeff's numbers are right on. But, the one thing I have found is people are valuing 1.01 too highly. I do it, too. I realize that the talent dropoff is steep. But, I cannot imagine Bush being worth more than Maroney AND DWilliams. I expect Jeff's numbers to bear this out.

As someone who has traded away the 1.01 in two different leagues, I will tell you what it took for me. One was before the NFL draft, the other just today.

You should find the 1.01 to be a little cheaper now than it was late April.

Here are the 2 deals....

16 team IDP league

(Pre-NFL Draft)

I traded 1.01 + 2.01

for

1.02 + 1.04 + 1.08

I acquired Maroney @ 1.02, Addai @ 1.04 and Vince Young @ 1.08.

Other owner took Bush and Mercedes Lewis @ 2.01

(today)

I traded 1.01 + 1.11 + 2.13

for

1.03 + 1.05 + 2.08

In both leagues, I need RBs and will take my chances with 2 of the 5 top runners.

He wanted to De Angelo anyways, so he traded down, got his man, and 1.12 (Santonio Holmes) also.

this sounds cheap (1.02 and 1.12 for 1.01 and 3.01).

Ok,

By my math, 1.01 in your league is worth:

1.02 and 1.08, OR

1.03 and 1.05, OR

1.04 and 1.05 and 1.10

That seems about right.

If no kicker, 1.01 is worth:

1.02 and 1.09, OR

1.03 and 1.06, OR

1.04 and 1.05

The love for Bush knows no bounds, does it? I'd take either Williams or Maroney over Bush right now in a dynasty draft. Being able to get both guys for giving up the rights to Bush? That's flat out robbery.
