Kinda like the whole Bounty thing?? Personally, I don't know the guy, but happened to read his book (I won it in my kid's preschool auction and it was wretched) and he seems like a good guy. I remember seeing his wife filed for divorce, so here is a guy who lost his job and wife in the same few month period...I am just worried for him as a person.

Honest guess is that he's had some comm about roster management and more future related items. Day to day game plans would really be too stupid to risk. But a "hey, we might dump this WR7 what do you think...no he's great, he'll get it, keep him" kind of conversation? I can see that.

If he was doing this and got caught, he would be banned for life. Goodell wouldn't even care about bringing irrefutable evidence to the table (see bounty case as an example), Payton would just be done.
