how much is FF costing you this year ? (1 Viewer)

$50, two leagues. $100 in weekly pools. Sadly Congress put the foot down and my other $100 weekly pool is gone. With no :mansion: this year, and no 33% Parlay options, I think my additional gambling budget for the pigskin will be $500 rolled over the course of the season.

I've got 6 league, $800 in total dues between them :headbang: My wife doesn't really realize how deeply I'm fallen
800? My main league is $500 a man entry fee! I am in two that are 300, one 250 and my work league is 100.and they ##### that it is too much money. So around 1500 for 5 leagues.I would love just to get into one league for 1000 a team, then play a 100 work league. I am getting tired of of managing 5 teams.

I spend more on fantasy baseball than fantasy football. I think my total dues in football are a little under $300.

WAY too much luck involved in fantasy football to sink a lot of money into it in my opinion. Unless you play in leagues with people who don't know what they're doing or don't care, there's so much information out there that all that separates owners in a good league is normally luck.

In baseball, the length of the season and the formats normally allow the best teams to win much more consistently.

Well, this year it is $1,500/month between child support and alimony. Money well spent now I can use those extra 3 hours a week that I used to spend with my kids watching replays on the NFL network. Wait, Comcast starting charging for that now.

Revised total $1,507.99/month.

$10 - Oh sorry you didn't want answers like mine.
LOLI've gone big time and joined a $50 league, in addition to the $20 league I commish. With my FBG subscription, I'm still under $100. Yahoo leagues are free, so I'm in 2 of those. I've got plenty of other hobbies to blow my cash on.

I get the sunday ticket because of ff football so if you count that and fbg membership it is somewhere in the ballpark of $400-$450.

Keep in mind I did call direct tv and talk them down in price a little.

Doing a WCOFF team with a partner this year, so it'll total around two grand. Never spent more than $300 on all leagues, till I moved to NYC. Now it's two big money keeper leagues, and two 'for fun' dynasty leagues.

Dodds tried to start a $500 league and had to pull the plug. Not enough interest.
Here?? I find that hard to believe with all the shooters.
Yes, in the "Looking for Leagues" forum....http://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index...howtopic=325219

... with not only Dodd's but Chase Stuart and Aaron Rudnicki as well.

$250 Keeper League

$150 League

$165 League

$200 League

$116 League

$66 League

$9 Dynasty League

$27 FBG Subscription

$9 FBG Magazine

that makes it $892.00. However, $150 of it isn't due until the end of the year, in that league we pay what we owe, or get paid what we won. So, net output is $742.00, net income in January will hopefully be larger than that, as usual.. :lmao:

4 leagues @ 270$ total plus FBG so 300$. Got two second places last year to make 800$ and a third two years ago for 160$ so overall I'm down two hundy for my first six years of FF ballin'. The light came on last year though and I don't see any more finishes out of the money. My different keeper situations are just too sick!

NFFC Main Event $1350

NFFC $650 Auction @ Main Event

NFFC $100 Satellites x 4

Trip to Tampa to Draft $2500(write off as this is a business)

Subscription to FBGs $25

2 Trade mags $12

Total "Cost" about $5000

Winning my money back and the satisfaction that goes with it....PRICELESS!

last year I had 15 leagues for ~1300. I have trimmed that down to less than 10 this season.

This thread seems to have little to do with cost and much to do with amounts wagered.

Costs would only be your subscriptions, maybe tv packages, magazines, etc and league overhead. League entry fees aren't a cost.

If you play WCOFF and any of its ancillary leagues, it adds up fast. Lets just say that noone here comes close to the amount I spend yearly (the advantage of having no wife or kids).

Just so you know what's out there. One of my partners is a comanager of a team that has a $50,000 buy in with significant side bets. Everyone in it is an executive on wall street and they almost all have comanagers that run their teams for a piece of their profits. Its the perfect situation for him, no cost and a chance to win 100 grand with his ff skills.
