How much longer before John Navarre begins to show up (1 Viewer)

With Kurt Warners injury history and Matt Leinart still holding out, (his season is slowly beginning to circle the drain).......how much longer before we see projections on John Navarre?

Does anyone want to take a shot on what his ceiling could be?

Leinart is going to get signed. His holdout will probably only affect the first half of the season, by which I mean that if Warner is injured in games 1-8, Navarre and not Leinart would be the replacement. After that, an injury to Warner would probably find Leinart in the lineup unless the team is winning and in the playoff hunt such that they think that Navarre's greater experience in the offense would be more worthwhile in the lineup. At best, Navarre is a backup QB in a deep league, probably best cast as a handcuff for Warner, and that only applies to this season. Given that his stats are entirely dependent upon Warner's health (and to a lesser extent Leinart's holdout and the team's circumstances whenever he comes into the game), your guess as to his stat projections is as good as anyone else's is.

Yeah I'll take the shot. His ceiling looks alot like the underside of a public toilet seat! Navarre is trash! Absolute refuse! As a Michigan fan who watched him play in every game in college I can say, without hesitation, that he is a useless roster turd and I'm sorry if you have a spot for him on your team. He's clumsy. He runs like he has concrete blocks molded around his feet. He has poor reactions and bad vision when it comes to blitzing LB's right in front of him. He's slow to throw it away and even slower to find a safety valve. He has a cannon for an arm but is completely unable to throw with any touch whatsoever! He does not have what it takes to maintain an NFL roster spot as a #2 QB and anyone who thinks he could be a #1 should be flogged repeatedly with a rubber hose about the face and neck!John Navarre = :bag: :bag: :bag: :bag: :bag: :bag: :bag:

denny green has made lemonade out of lemon QB's before

if forced into action navarre could be a better fantasy option than quite a few lower tier starting QB's are right now

well now that is the kind of report i was looking for.

Navarre averaged 7.2 Y/A last year in his only game. That would have been impressive if it wasn't against Houston. The Texans allowed 7.5 Y/A, second worst in the league.

As a Lions fan as well I say, give me Harrington before Navarre!! Navarre couldn't average better than a 60.0 QB rating if Jesus was the #1WR and the Holy Spirit was playing the X spot!
