So I'm scoping out the Fire & Ice thread and thinking, "man, these guys are nerds."

Then I remember all of my posts in the Clash of Clans thread and realize I'm no better.

So, I'm curious to find out, just how nerdy this forum really is.

On a scale of 1-10, how much of a nerd do you consider yourself? I won't put zero in, because simply by being on this forum and replying to a poll puts you at least above zero.

Be honest, because this is for science.

I used to think this way, until I told my cousin that I played and all she did was laugh at me and call me a nerd.It is more mainstream, but playing magic football with spreadsheets is a kind of nerdy thing.

I feel like the scale is off. I voted 5 based on the descriptions within, but the 8/9 seem nearly unattainable.

On a more real scale i'm definitely an 8.

I mean I'm up on the latest spider-man comics and goto all the marvel movies first weekend.

I imagine all hobbies get pretty nerdy unless it's participating in a sport or weightlifting though if you get into it deeply enough

Having said that - I think you are asking if you are a science/tech nerd and not just a nerd. There's different kinds of nerds - music nerds, book nerds, sports nerds, etc. I'd rate higher on a sports nerd poll than a science/tech nerd one.

I would think being in my 12th season of my NCAA Football 14 dynasty and having created several custom playbooks should cover it. If not, I can submit my accomplishments in Diablo III, the EA NHL franchise, and Battlefield 3 as supplementary evidence.

Work in nerd industry and attend many uber nerd things for work. Can speak the language at a basic level for most popular nerd culture stuff. About a 4.5 on your scale.
